Description
Pieces in this series focus on scenes and objects in nature, which are specifically identified in the title - in this case,a wild climbing vine against rough tree bark. From that natural, original photographic element, arises the artist's additional interpretations through creative abstract digital exploration.
A climbing vine, as we'd notice it in a stroll through the park perhaps, is something we'd usually consider unremarkable, but when we envision it from this these fresh and startling colors and contrasts, in hues of blues and purples, it suddenly takes on the aura of the world of the imagination.
While abstract art doesn't specifically represent external reality, but exists somewhat independently of it and may seek to achieve its effect using shapes, forms, colors, and textures, it can, as in the case of this art piece, take specific realistic elements as springboards for creative excursions - emotionally and metaphorically.
