Camellia is a genus of flowering plants in the family Theaceae, and the plants are found as evergreen shrubs or small trees. Their flowers are usually large and conspicuous and often cultivated for their beauty as ornamentals.

Although much of my career had been in editing and writing, I have been delighted for some time to concentrate on both photography and artistic creations based on photography. Through this medium I thoroughly enjoy the world, from city to suburb to country, from my roots in the US Midwest to fascinating Florida, to Ohio, where I now live.
