Description
The llama (scientific name Lama glama), whose head is seen here in close-up view, seems to be puckering up its lips, all ready for that llama smooch. The selective focus in this image draws attention to those lips in particular, while the remainder of the face is outlined against the sky. The llama is a relative of the camel and has been used as a pack animal since pre-Columbian times in the Andes. Since llamas have been known to spit at you if you've displeased them, you might want to be a little careful if one makes an offer that looks like a kiss is in the offing.
