Description
A minimalist treatment of a wooden access ramp is seen here from an unusual point of view - one from the side of the back and forth, reversing levels of the structure rather than from the point of view of one going up the ramp. That angle emphasizes the patterns created by the railings and grain of the wooden structure. And yet more patterns are added by the small piece of the siding of the building that's in view - the building that the ramp accesses. All the details are seen here in black and white, emphasizing the patterns even more.

Mitch, this is a wonderful study of horizontal, vertical, and angled lines in juxtaposition with the squiggly patterns in the wood. A POD from me in the Best of Minimalism group. f/l

Thank you, Ann, for the kind comment. I know you enjoy finding these natural patterns around you as well.
