Artist's Description

This appears to be where old boats go to retire. A well used wooden boat is leaning against a wooden fence of interlaced boards, seemingly of the same vintage. A sign, reading Seven Seas, on the fence and above the boat must have had, given its look, a similar history. The weathering on all is soft and glowing and appealing. All are variations on pearl gray tones except for the sign, which introduces gentle sea blues.
