Parts of a rural, rough-sided, wooden outbuilding, a weathered wooden fence, and a red metal roof provide intriguing and pleasing contrasts in form, color, materials, and textures. A minimalist look at pieces of the whole.

Although much of my career had been in editing and writing, I have been delighted for some time to concentrate on both photography and artistic creations based on photography. Through this medium I thoroughly enjoy the world, from city to suburb to country, from my roots in the US Midwest to fascinating Florida, to Ohio, where I now live.
