Description
The Sanibel Island Light, also called the Point Ybel Light, in Lighthouse Beach Park, rises into the beautiful spring sky behind the keeper's quarters. One of the oldest lighthouses in Florida, it was erected in 1884 and automated in 1949. The light was built to mark the entrance to San Carlos Bay. It is on the National Register of Historic Places and is still operational.

I like this a lit - the painted treatment suits the scene well and is enough to tame the doubtless busy grasses and leaves but not to lose the nice details.
Mitch Spence replied:
Thank you, Nikolyn. Absolutely right about the busy grasses. Glad you like the treatment.
