Artist's Description
On Florida's St. Augustine Beach, it's that most beautiful time of day - sunset. The white sands, in muted light this hour, the line of the leaning erosion fencing, and the position of the dunes all lead the eye toward the setting sun and the warm oranges of the cloud-strewn sky. The beach grasses make a gentle curtain for the welcome spectacle.

Although much of my career had been in editing and writing, I have been delighted for some time to concentrate on both photography and artistic creations based on photography. Through this medium I thoroughly enjoy the world, from city to suburb to country, from my roots in the US Midwest to fascinating Florida, to Ohio, where I now live.
