A warm golden light shows us the vintage organ and tilting stained-glass window.A quiet place for contemplation in St. Mary's Chapel on the grounds of historic Spanish Point in Osprey, Florida. The complex has 30 historical, environmental, and archaeological acres of display at this outdoor museum on Little Sarasota Bay. Included are artifacts of Florida's intrepid pioneer homesteaders at Sarasota's first produce packing house, the charming St. Mary's Chapel and pioneer cemetery, a landscaped pergola, a shell midden,and the beautifully preserved Guptill House, built in 1901.

Although much of my career had been in editing and writing, I have been delighted for some time to concentrate on both photography and artistic creations based on photography. Through this medium I thoroughly enjoy the world, from city to suburb to country, from my roots in the US Midwest to fascinating Florida, to Ohio, where I now live. My artistic interests are eclectic. Much engages me. I hope my art will please and engage you as well.
