The scene is idyllic. The vantage point is dramatic. The view is from atop one railing and down the length of the pier at beautiful Bayshore Live Oak Park on Charlotte Harbor in Port Charlotte, Florida. Beyond the pier, the waters and sky are the perfect seaside blue, and two sailboats picturesquely make their way across the water. This point of view along the railing produces a strong graphic image that leads the viewers eye from the near position and along the geometric shadows produced by the sun shining through the railing slats, across the water, and to the far horizon and clouds.
