Description
In a sort of picture in picture, a framed mirror shows a portion of the scene in the room around it. The highly patterned vintage wallpaper that surrounds the mirror is also repeated in the reflected wall. In addition, the mirror reflection shows a wooden sideboard topped by a glass oil lamp and a small framed drawing of a face. It's a nostalgic look at the decor of yesteryear.
This appealing scene was arranged at Hale Farm and Village, a historic property of the Western Reserve Historical Society in Bath Township, Summit County, Ohio. It's within the boundaries of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and its grounds are especially gorgeous to walk on a bright autumn day.
