In this black and white image, old-fashioned silver keys hang from a key ring, while one fits into the keyhole of a door that is just ajar. The wooden door has seen much use and is roughly textured and worn. The close-up look brings a sense of mystery. One of the reasons that doors and images of them always seem to appeal is, of course, the mystery of what may lie on the other side, and metaphorically, what may lie ahead for us.
