I'm having a bit of fun here with these three signs - Do Not Approach Alligators, Trail Closed, and Not a Trail - and with our quickly departing gator friend here. These signs and Mr. or Ms. gator were indeed all on or along one trail through one of Florida's many conservation areas. They just weren't quite this close to one another. But I found it fun to make them a bit more locationally friendly with one another than they were in actuality. Florida's conservation lands are extraordinarily important to the ecology of the state and to all who live here or visit here and who love, protect, and care for them.
