This black and white digital artwork investigates what it would look like if this woman could come back from beyond and view the home in which she once lived. She peers in through the window to a dark room, lighted only by the cold moonlight streaming through the window. An old-fashioned oil lamp occupies the table inside the window, as does a small framed picture. It seems as though this spirit is particularly engaged with the picture, which, we think, depicts her in life.
Although much of my career had been in editing and writing, I have been delighted for some time to concentrate on both photography and artistic creations based on photography. Through this medium I thoroughly enjoy the world, from city to suburb to country, from my roots in the US Midwest to fascinating Florida, to Ohio, where I now live. My artistic interests are eclectic. Much engages me. I hope my art will please and engage you as well.

Thank you, Terri. The picture and the oil lamp on the table started the thought processes on this one.
