From the deck of a classic sailing ship, the view is through the scupper, a hole allowing water to drain from a ship's deck, to the blue water and far shore. The metal plates, glowing with a subtle shine, are punctuated with rivets, and nautical ropes hang ready for mooring.
Although much of my career had been in editing and writing, I have been delighted for some time to concentrate on both photography and artistic creations based on photography. Through this medium I thoroughly enjoy the world, from city to suburb to country, from my roots in the US Midwest to fascinating Florida, to Ohio, where I now live.
