The view is an unusual one for this iconic building, from underneath and behind one of the structural pieces of the skewed facade, with the blue of the sky showing through the struts. The Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, opened on May 21, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada and is operated by the Cleveland Clinic. The complex was designed by the world-renowned architect Frank Gehry. The Center is intended to be a national resource for the most current research and scientific information for the treatment of Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntington 's Diseases, Multiple Sclerosis and ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) as well as focusing on prevention, early detection and education.
Although much of my career had been in editing and writing, I have been delighted for some time to concentrate on both photography and artistic creations based on photography. Through this medium I thoroughly enjoy the world, from city to suburb to country, from my roots in the US Midwest to fascinating Florida, to Ohio, where I now live. My artistic interests are eclectic. Much engages me. I hope my art will please and engage you as well.
