In this high-key photographic image, a chair made of a transparent plastic or acrylic material stands against a formal wall of white columns. The columns and the chair are reflected in the shiny wooden planks of the floor, although the chair seems almost ghostly as it blends into the environment.
Although much of my career had been in editing and writing, I have been delighted for some time to concentrate on both photography and artistic creations based on photography. Through this medium I thoroughly enjoy the world, from city to suburb to country, from my roots in the US Midwest to fascinating Florida, to Ohio, where I now live. My artistic interests are eclectic. Much engages me. I hope my art will please and engage you as well.

So cool the way this chair both recedes into and projects from the background. Love white on white and high key, so this is a fave. This was one of my two pod's in the Best of Minimalism group for May 21.
