The image is a metaphor for everything that makes us happy about flowers and about the splendor and color of our summer and fall gardens. The flowerbed is ablaze with yellow and gold and fiery orange. And all the brilliant blooms are framed by the lush deep greens of their foliage. An absolute natural delight is this - for us and for all the little creatures that will benefit from it.
Although much of my career had been in editing and writing, I have been delighted for some time to concentrate on both photography and artistic creations based on photography. Through this medium I thoroughly enjoy the world, from city to suburb to country, from my roots in the US Midwest to fascinating Florida, to Ohio, where I now live. My artistic interests are eclectic. Much engages me. I hope my art will please and engage you as well.
