The sign is a rough unfinished wooden plank with hand-done white capital letters. The sign hangs on what appears to be white building siding. That siding is old, and its white paint is flaking, and pieces are missing from it. Over it all, a single, small light bulb hangs. There's appeal in the roughness of it all and perhaps an open-ended story about what the environment might be around this rustic waterfront scene.
Although much of my career had been in editing and writing, I have been delighted for some time to concentrate on both photography and artistic creations based on photography. Through this medium I thoroughly enjoy the world, from city to suburb to country, from my roots in the US Midwest to fascinating Florida, to Ohio, where I now live. My artistic interests are eclectic. Much engages me. I hope my art will please and engage you as well.
