It's the quintessential mountain scene. It's early morning. The white clouds provided fluffy, pristine layers over the unseen landscape below. The near silhouettes of the mountains extend about those cloud layers. And the pastel colors of the brightening sky create the lovely, soft cap to the vista. While this scene might be anywhere in the world there are mountains, it is in fact a delightful sight discovered near the Blue Ridge Parkway of western North Carolina in the United States.
