Description

Fall colors abound here in the surrounding foliage, while the color red dominates in the lined up kayaks on shore and the roofs of the closed outbuildings nearby. The outdoor boating season is clearly reaching its end, not to resume until spring. This scene takes place at many much loved and enjoyed areas for outdoor fun, but this particular one is at Beavers Bend State Park in Oklahoma. The park is located in the mountainous region of southeast Oklahoma along the shores of Broken Bow Lake and the Mountain Fork River. Traveling down the winding roads through the forests of pine and hardwood trees, one will find beautiful scenery, which makes it one of Oklahoma's most popular areas.
