Description
Pennsylvania Station is a historic train station at Liberty Avenue and Grant Street in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This view is of the central skylight over a section of the rotunda area of the station, which once served as a place for carriages to turn around. The station building was designed by Chicago architect Daniel Burnham and was built between 1898 and 1904. While several railroad stations served Pittsburgh during the 20th century, this is the only one remaining active, now owned by Amtrak.
