Description
The queen triggerfish (Balistes vetula) is an Atlantic ocean, Caribbean, reef fish. These strikingly patterned fish are sometimes kept in aquariums but are aggressive and can grow quite large for such captive areas. The triggerfish are so called because of the spines on their backs. The first spine can be raised, and a second can lock it into place, which allows them to wedge themselves into the rocks for protection.
